These Alpaca Glittens are exceptionally practical! Hands knitted with 100% alpaca fiber with a double cable design these alpaca glittens are marvelously soft, warm and accommodating. Need your fingertips and thumb? Just fold back the cap, fasten the button, and slip out your thumb! Your hands will stay nice and warm while allowing full use of your fingers. Alpaca glittens make an ideal gift for the holidays!
Alpaca fiber is an emerging source for eco-friendly clothing and gifts, as it’s naturally replenished and harvested without harm to the alpaca. Alpaca fiber:
- is lanolin and dander free
- highly thermal
- does not absorb water into the fiber
- has a much softer feel than wool
- is lightweight
- does not have the prickle effect experienced with wool
Colors: available in natural undyed beige, charcoal, grey or ivory.
Size available is for small to medium sized hands.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce slight variations in size, color and form. Size is approximate.
Care for your alpaca glittens by hand washing with cool water and a mild soap or human hair shampoo. Do not use chlorine bleach. Woolite is not recommended. Remove excess water carefully and avoid wringing or twisting. Allow to dry naturally lying flat. Block and reshape to its original dimensions. Do not use a dryer.
